6.3 Two and Four Month Notices

A tenant can receive a Two Month Eviction Notice for Landlord’s Use of Property if they no longer qualify for their subsidized rental unit.

If you would like to challenge a Two Month Notice, you have 15 days to apply for dispute resolution through the Residential Tenancy Branch (RTB). At this hearing, you will be given the opportunity to present evidence in support of your case, but the burden of proof will be on your landlord to convince the arbitrator to uphold the eviction notice.
